Márton NAGY

Deputy Governor,
Magyar Nemzeti Bank (the central bank of Hungary)

Márton Nagy has been Deputy Governor of Monetary Policy and Lending Incentives of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (the central bank of Hungary) since September 2015. He is a member of the Monetary Council and the Financial Stability Board. He is the Chairman of the Financial Section at the Hungarian Economic Association.

 

He earned his degree in economics at Corvinus University of Budapest in 1999. Between 1998 and 2000, Márton Nagy worked as an analyst at the Government Debt Management Agency. He joined the MNB team in 2002.

 

In 2014, he received the Popovics Sandor award, the accolade that can be given to emerging and hopeful professionals under the age of forty. His professional activity is mainly focused on the easing of SME’s financing difficulties and the solution of households’ foreign currency issues.

Richárd VÉGH

Chairman and CEO,
Budapest Stock Exchange

Richárd Végh was appointed CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange on 1 January 2016. He was elected as the Chairman of the Board on 16 March, 2017. 

 

Previously he worked at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (the central bank of Hungary) from October 2013 to December 2015, as Director of the Capital Market Supervision Directorate and was responsible for prudential supervision of capital market institutions in Hungary, market surveillance examinations concerning market manipulation, insider trading, and unauthorized financial services and was also responsible for the capital market issuer licensing.

 

From 2004 till 2013 he worked at Budapest Stock Exchange in various positions.

Petr KOBLIC
CEO
Prague Stock Exchange

Petr Koblic, a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, began his career in banking in 1993 as a financial market dealer. In 1997, he was promoted to the position of deputy director of the Treasury Department. During 1997–1998, he worked at Patria Finance, as Head of sales. In June 1998, he moved to CA IB Securities where he headed trading activities and served as the Chairman and CEO. 

 

Mr. Koblic was elected Chairman and CEO of Prague Stock Exchange in September 2004. In 2012 he was elected as a member of the Board of CEE Stock Exchange Group AG. He serves on the board of Vienna Stock Exchange as CFO. He is a Chairman of the Board of Central Securities Depository Prague. In February 2007, he was named Chairman of the Power Exchange Central Europe. In 2018, he was elected the President of FESE. He is also a member of Supervisory Board of the Central European Gas Hub.

 

During his career Mr. Koblic was a member of the Board of the Czech Broker Dealer Association (AKAT), President of Ljubljana Stock Exchange, Member of the Board of Budapest Stock Exchange and he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Czech Investor Compensation Fund. He holds a local broker’s license and brokerage license in the United States.

Peter KUBRICKY
CEO,
Bratislava Stock Exchange

After graduation from University of Economics in Bratislava Peter devoted so far 22 years to capital market development in Slovak Republic.

 

He came through all the capital market infrastructure, spent years working for Ministry of Finance, he enjoyed time in Central Securities Depository, later in investment companies, followed by Financial Market Authority, National Bank of Slovakia to current engagement in Bratislava Stock Exchange.

Marek DIETL
CEO,
Warsaw Stock Exchange

Marek Dietl has been serving as CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange since June 2017.

 

A graduate of Warsaw School of Economics with a PhD from the Institute of Economic Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences, Marek Dietl served at the international consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners from 1999 to 2008. He then moved to Krajowy Fundusz Kapitałowy, where he remained until 2012 – initially as Investment Manager and later as Deputy Director for Investments. Dietl has also served on the Supervisory Boards, Audit Committees, and Investment (Selection) Committees of more than 20 companies in Poland.

 

He has advised the President of Poland and the President of the Energy Regulatory Office.
