The objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a non-binding agreement, include exploring product development opportunities and incentivising Chinese companies active in the region to use local capital markets. In addition, the parties also aim to support the further development of capital market relations between Central Europe and China.

In recent years, a valuable relationship has developed between Hungarian and Chinese capital market players. I am convinced that this MoU is another important step in this process. Our goal is to strengthen our business relations with stakeholders of the dynamic Chinese capital markets.”

- said Richárd Végh, CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange.

China Construction Bank will encourage and help more Chinese investors to pay attention to and enter Hungary. By connecting with the Hungarian market through the Budapest Stock Exchange, we can better leverage the advantages of both parties and improve the cooperation and development between the two countries in various fields including technology and innovation.”
