Supplying the whole country with disinfectant – Florin Zrt.
Florin, which has been operating since the 1950s, was one of the three big Hungarian household chemicals and cosmetics companies before the political changes in 1989- 1990 and, after a long period of agony, it almost went bankrupt. However, its new owner has pulled it out of the doldrums—it can now supply the whole country with disinfectants, compete with multinationals and expand into foreign markets.

Abandoning its original vision of installing vending machines, the company started distributing and then manufacturing convenience foods. They were years ahead of the market, but the owners had the patience to wait for the western trend to arrive in Hungary.
