On 11 April the Budapest Stock Exchange held a private discussion with the chief executives of regional stock exchanges participating in the V4+CEE Capital Markets Conference. The Hungarian stock market was be represented by Márton Nagy, Deputy Governor of Magyar Nemzeti Bank, and Richárd Végh, chairman and CEO of the BSE. Participating members of the stock exchange summit was able to discuss the underlying opportunities of the region’s capital markets, exchanges and listed companies the following day.
The conference, held on 12 April, welcomed the Bratislava, the Ljubljana, the Prague, the Varsaw and the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, where chief executives discussed underlying opportunities of the region’s capital markets, exchanges and listed companies. The Federation of European Securities Exchanges presented its strategy for developing EU's capital markets at the summit, while the Polish pension reform adopted in September 2018 was also discussed.
